    Functions Information on the version of your firmware of your bctone can be found by pressing the information-icon on the button in the left corner of your bctone. The latest version of this user manual can be found here: http://support.bct-electronic.com Home Screen Your bctone should be set up and configured by an IT technician.

    User Manual (1) Home Button The home button (1) on your bctone always leads you back to the home screen, even if you are in an active call. In case of inactivity for 15 seconds your bctone returns to the call overview automatically.

    Volume Control (1) By touching the volume symbol in the status bar of your bctone you’ll start the volume control dialog. (2) Audio Source This symbol shows which audio source can be adjusted. Ringtone: if there is no call active at this very moment, you can adjust the volume of your ringtone.

  • Page 15 Depending on the configuration (to be configured by your technician in the ConfigWeb) of your bctone, the call app offers a numeric or alphanumeric keypad (5). (2) The keyboard offers quick-search functionality. As soon as you enter a digit or charac- ter all address book that match your entry are displayed.
  • Page 16 Alpha-Numeric Keyboard If you prefer to have the alpha-numeric keypad set up as default, your technician can make this configuration in the ConfigWeb for you. This keypad is only different to the numeric keypad in appearance, not in functionality.

    User Manual Incoming Calls (1) Accept Call: Take calls by touching the blue highlighted bar (call notification) (1) appea- ring. Calls can also be accepted directly by picking up the handset (if attached). (2) Decline Call: Press the red handset icon (2) to decline a call.

    Multiple Incoming Calls If during an active call (A) an additional call (B) is coming in, a notification will be displayed on your screen. By touching the notification you‘ll reach the call overview and can accept call (B) by touching the blue highlighted handset icon. If the additional call (B) is accepted the originally active call (A) will automatically be paused.
  • Page 19 User Manual (2) Enter the number to which you want to forward the call and touch the blue highlighted handset icon (2). (3) To cancel the transfer, touch the red return icon (3). Wait until the recipient picks up if you want to speak to him before you transfer the call, or transfer it directly by touching the blue highlighted notification bar.

    Active Calls (1) For further option during active calls touch icon (1). (2) Mute Microphone/Call Touch the crossed out microphone icon (2) to mute the microphone during a call. The symbol is now shown red. By touching it again the microphone is reactivated. Note: the mute function only effects the currently active call.

    ConfigWeb by your technician. • a compatible USB webcam is attached to your bctone and configured accordingly in the ConfigWeb by your technician. (1) The red camera symbol (1) displayed in the status bar indicates that your camera is active.

    Call Overview Options There are two different types of views for your calls, which can be chosen in the ConfigWeb (see chapter ConfigWeb Configuration > Settings).     The bctone can be set up with 100 different screens with up to 144 buttons on it. The configuration of the “Screens” has to be carried out by a technician via the ConfigWeb in advance.

    User Manual Door Communication Note: Only applicable if your bctone is connected to a door phone system. (1) Press the blue call notification bar (1) to accept door call. (2) Press the blue door opener bar (2) to open the door.

    Address Book To manage your contacts the bctone comes with an easy to handle address book. (1) As soon as you are in the call-app (enter by touching the handset icon) access the address book by touching the contacts (1) icon.
  • Page 27 User Manual Search for Contacts (1) Touch the edit line to switch to the keypad and enter the name you are looking for. You can also flick through the whole address book by scrolling. Contact Details By touching the desired contact in your address book the contact details are displayed.
  • Page 28 (1) Call Contact By touching the number of the selected contact a call will automatically be initiated. (2) Delete Contacts To delete a single entry from your address book select the relevant contact and press X (2). Confirm to finally delete the contact. You can delete all address book entries (irre- vocably) in the ConfigWeb.

    Call History (1) You can see a list of all past calls by touching the list symbol (1) in the Call-App. All calls are listed by default but you can filter the displayed calls (2) for all calls (3) for incoming and outgoing calls (4) for missed calls (5) touching the i-symbol will lead you to the complete call history list of this contact (6) touching the x-symbol will delete the complete list of this specific contact.
