  • Page 2 You are wearing a totally unconventional watch created from the mindset of an industrial designer. The originality lies in the point of view. A RESSENCE watch has its roots in your brain. The concept is based on a holistic approach in which the user experience plays a central role.

    Functional Parameters The watch is monitored at 0h and after 24h of running in a fixed position. The watch is placed in a robotised monitoring device that „listens“ to the watch pulsing in 6 different positions, namely dial up, dial down, crown up, crown down, dial front- facing, dial back-facing.

Unlike traditional watches, the time representation is generated by a set of disks and rings. The so-called time module (or module) is an independent mechanical unit that generates all the functions independently completely immersed in oil.

    The barrel will wind completely by wearing the watch. Principle As the TYPE 3 is automatically winding by wearing it, you only need to set the time when the watch stopped working*; what is the concequence of not wearing the watch for a longer period.

  • Page 8 Operating Instructions Setting a watch that is completely out of time. Follow the steps in priority order: 1. Set the correct weekday and bring time to 00h30 2. Set the correct date 3. Set the correct time 4. Manual winding if still needed.

    Weekday Setting Follow instruction for Time Setting The day indicator is directly connected to the minutes hand. This means you will need to turn the minutes hand 24x to add one day. Day can be set backward as well as forward. It is recommended to set the weekday in counter clockwise direction.

    Date Setting Bring the time setting to 24h00 by turning the back case clockwise seen from the back ( what is counter-clockwise on the dial ). This position corresponds to the weekday indicator indicating a white dot. Turn back the time and bring the watch at least to 23h45. then -...

    Time Setting a n t w e r p T Y P E Turn the back case while looking at the dial. The dial ( minutes ) will follow the movement you do with the back. Always do this close to a soft surface in case the watch would fall. Both directions are possible but it is preferable to set counter clockwise if the time span is important.

    Manual Winding Turn the back case counter clockwise a n t w e r p T Y P E Turn the back case clockwise Turning the back case counter clockwise will wind the watch manually. A winding sound is perceptible. The rotor will move freely Turning the back case clockwise will not wind the watch.

    Like all liquids, oil expands when heated and contracts when chilled. TYPE 3 has been calibrated to function between 10°C ( 50°F ) and 35°C ( 95°F ). This corresponds to a normal wearing temperature of 20°C ( 68°F ) with skin contact.
