    GENERAL GUIDELINES While the Venom™ King of Shaves C1 34” RTR Electric Boat is incredibly fun, it is not a toy. It is very important that you read and follow the steps detailed in this instruction and radio manual. Failure to follow the guidelines detailed in these manuals could result in damage to property, permanent damage your model, or personal injury.

    ESC SETUP The two watercooled Venom 60A Pro Marine Brushless Speed Controls that came in your Venom™ King of Shaves C1 34” RTR Electric Boat are pre-programmed from the factory. If you need to re-program them, please follow the instructions below.
  • Page 5 ESC SETUP CONT. ESC SETUP CONT. STEP #1. Enter the programming mode. Switch on the transmitter. Move the throttle trigger to the Full throttle position and then connect the battery pack to the ESC. Wait for 2 seconds, the motor emits “Beep-Beep” tone. Wait for 5 seconds, the motor emits a special musical tone noting that the program mode has been entered.

    BATTERY INSTALLATION BATTERY INSTALLATION Always use a charger specifically rated to charge your batteries. Charging and discharging batteries has the potential for serious injury to persons and damage to property. Caution: If batteries get hot during charging, discontinue charging immediately and disconnect battery from charger. Never leave battery unattended while charging.     INSTALLING THE PROPS The Venom™ Electric King of Shaves operates using counter-rotating drives to cancel the torque effect of the props. Because of this, it is extremely important to make sure that you install the correct prop on the correct shaft always noting the correct rotational direction.

    INSTALLING THE HATCH INSTALLING THE HATCH Secure the hatch by sliding the front pins into the holes at the front of the hull opening. The Hatch should drop easily down so that the magnets hold the hatch in securely in place. To waterproof the hatch, use strips of clear tape to seal the lid on all four sides.

    TUNING GUIDE TUNING GUIDE REPLACING/ UPGRADING THE PROPS Follow the same steps used to install the props. If you are using aftermarket props, make sure they are sized for a 4mm prop shaft. If you are not using a 4mm prop, you will need to shim the prop shaft or use an adapter to increase the diameter to .187”.

    BOAT MAINTENANCE BOAT MAINTENANCE DRIVE LINE Remove the props. Loosen the motor coupler set screws for the flex cables. Slide the flex cables out of the drives. Lubricate the flex cables with marine grease. Lubricate the drive ball bearings with a light oil for bearings. Reassemble the drives and wipe away any excess grease and oil.
