    Programs/ Volume Changing Programs The Alto has two programs: Smart Program and Loop Program. The Smart Program is an auto-adaptive setting in which the hearing aid detects your environment and provides appropriate amplification. The Loop program lets you use telecoil in places like auditoriums or theaters. You will hear one beep for the Smart Program and three beeps for the Loop Pro- gram.
