  • Page 7 Curling or wavy paper is not cut as intended. Flatten the paper as much as possible before it is cut. If paper is excessively curling or wavy, the CT334exa cannot feed or cut the paper properly. This causes skewed paper feeds, inaccurate cutting, and/or paper jams due to a feed error.

    5. Setting Up the CT334exa and Mounting the Components CT334exa 5-1 Setting up the CT334exa The CT334exa should be placed on a solid, stable stand that adequately supports the weight of the unit. In addition, the unit must be horizontal. Caution When you lift the CT334exa, place your hands under the unit to securely hold it.

If a ground is not properly established, static electricity has nowhere to go and steadily accumulates inside the unit. This may cause a malfunction of the electric system of the CT334exa.

    The pickup roller is excessively worn so that it cannot pick up paper. (See Page 14 to replace the roller.) If none of the possible causes above apply and the paper is not still fed, then your CT334exa is out of order.
