personnel, capital equipment loss or environmental damage. Immediate action is required as identified below.

This Product Safety Advisory informs you of a potential anomaly that exists with the Stratix 5410 Ethernet Switch. On
a small quantity of product, wiring internal to the switch may short to the metal case of the switch. If a short like this
occurs, the metal case of the switch may rise to the same voltage as the power input terminals on the front of the
switch. This may cause the product to stop operating and / or result in an electrical and / or fire safety hazard.

    Page 2 of 9 – Product Identification – The potentially affected products are Stratix 5410 Ethernet Switches, catalog numbers 1783-IMS28NAC, 1783-IMS28NDC, 1783-IMS28RAC, and 1783-IMS28RDC. Potentially affected product will show a manufacturing date ranging from July 1, 2015 through January 18, 2016, and may be identified by the product serial number, CIP number, or MAC ID.
