1.4 The USB function By connecting the IPNetcam with a PC via the USB connector, the IPNetcam can provide two different functions. 1. Insert an SD card: As a card reader. Insert an SD card into the IPNetcam, then connect to the PC. You might transfer files between the SD card and the PC.

4. Check the value of the “caching value”. For low latency, it should be 70~80 based on PC's performance. NOTE: If the video is not smooth, please set the value as 150~1200. This may be result from the network congest, busy PC (memory is not enough or too many process running at the same time) or PC's performance is not meet the minimum requirement.
3、Quick Start Guide 1. Plug-In the Power Supply and Ethernet connector into IPNetcam. 2. Type in the IP Address in the IE Browser. 3. The screen will then show Video Device Control, then click “Yes”.

4. You will see the IPNetcam’s images 5. Click the button down of the image for each operational setting page. 6. When you change any setting, please don’t forget to click the “submit” button in each page. NOTE: When only one unit of the IPNetcam is connected to a LAN, you can freely assign an IP address for the IPNetcam.
4、Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.1 Connecting the IPNetcam 1. Start up the Microsoft Internet Explorer, and then follow the steps below to connect the IPNetcam. 2. Click the URL block at the top of the window. 3. Enter the URL address of the IPNetcam into the URL block and press the “Enter” button to enter the home page.

Scroll to choose the resolution at top of this page from “JPG(640X360)” , "MPEG4-1(1280X720)" or “ MPEG4-2(352X192)”. Scroll the Zoom option at top of this page to choose between “fix720” and “1X” in MPEG4-1(1280X720) resolution or “1X” and “2X” in MPEG4-2(352X192) resolutions. Click the Image button to enter the image-setting page.
4.2 Change Image Setting Please follow the steps below to change the image setting through the network if necessary. Click the Image button on the home page to enter the image-setting page. Image setting page of MPEG4 mode Adjust the image setting including “Device Title”, “Video Codec” , “Resolution”, "2A Engine", "color system", “Quality”(JPEG Setting) , "Bit rate"(MPEG4-1 Setting) , "Bit rate"(MPEG4-2 Setting) , if necessary.
4.3 Change the Network Setting Please follow the steps below to change the network settings through the network if necessary. Set the network options and IP address. Click the Network button in the home page to enter the Network page. The accessible networks here are the “FTP”...

Change the Network Setting — FTP (MJPEG mode only). Please follow the steps below to change the FTP setting via the network if necessary to upload recording data live. Click the FTP button at top left to enter the “FTP Server Setting” page. Type in the “FTP Server”...

Change the Network Setting — SMTP (MJPEG mode only). Please follow the steps below to change the SMTP setting through the network if necessary. Click the SMTP button at upper left above to enter the “SMTP Server Setting” page. Click “My Server Requires Authentication” of the attached box and activate the function. Fill in the Sender name, DOMAIN NAME of the SMTP server, and set the recipient’s e-mail address if necessary.

Change the Network Setting — SNTP. Please follow the steps below to change the SNTP setting through the network if necessary. Click the SNTP button at upper left above to enter the “SNTP Server Setting” page. Enter the IP Address of the SNTP server when necessary. Click the Submit button to submit the new SNTP setting.
4.4 Change the System Setting Please follow the steps below to change the System’s setting if necessary. Change the System Setting — Date and Time. Click the System button in the home page to enter the System page. Change the time settings if necessary.

Change the System Setting — Users. Please follow the steps below to change/add the users’ authority through the network if necessary. Click the Users button on the left side of the “Date and Time” page to enter the “Users” page. Add, modify or delete any user’s data if necessary.
4.5 Change the Application Setting Please follow the steps below to change the Application’s setting if necessary. Change the Application Setting — Setting-FTP. Click the FTP button on the left side to enter the FTP page. Enter the value of pre-alarm and alarm memory buffer. Choose the upload rate.

2. Choose the Format from "MJPEG" or " M4V" . 3. Enter the value of max MJPEG numbers(if MJPEG is selected) or choose the recording rate , M4V duration and M4V prealarm(if M4V is selected) . 4. Change the Application Setting — Record-Enable Record. 1. Click the Enable Record button on the left side to enter the “Record Application Enable Setting” page. 2. Click “Enable Record – UPLOAD via FTP” to checkmark the attached box and activate the function. 3.

Description of function keys: Schedule: Check / uncheck the first seven boxes in a vertical row on the left to enable/disable the programmed scheduled recording function if necessary. Vary any of the schedules of the recording setting if necessary (please refer to the above description). Chart: Schedule list.

Change the Application Setting —Motion Detection. 1. Click the Motion Detection button on the left side to enter the “Motion Detection” page. 2. Click and drag the left mouse button across a targeted zone to draw a red rectangle on the image (coordinates provided below).
