Power Positioning System Adjustment
Your power chair may be equipped with a power tilt system. With the VR2 controller, you can change the position
of the seating system, using the controller and a switch box. With the Q-Logic controller, you use the mode select
lever and the joystick to adjust the tilt.
NOTE: For more information on operating the power positioning system, refer to the information supplied in
supplemental manuals or contact your Quantum Rehab Provider.
WARNING! Do not allow the motor to run more than a few seconds after the mechanism reaches
the top or bottom limit.
WARNING! The power positioning system is intended for use on a level surface only. Never
operate your power chair while tilted on an inclined surface. Failure to heed this warning can
result in the power chair tipping over.
WARNING! Never operate your power chair while tilted on bumpy or uneven surfaces. Failure to
heed this warning can result in the power chair tipping over.
WARNING! Never operate the power positioning system while your power chair is in the
freewheel mode.
WARNING! Always fasten the positioning belt when operating the power positioning system.
WARNING! Pinch Point Hazard! Keep area around actuator clear when operating the power
positioning system or returning to your starting position.
