12 VOLT BATTERY CHARGER
Thank you for purchasing the Aero Cruiser/Speed Pilot 12V Field Charger. Using
this charger will give you less down time between flights. Please read all
instructions and warnings before using this charger.

Charging The NiMh Battery Pack

1. Plug the battery charger into a 12 volt
socket in a vehicle. The charger is
equipped with a 72" charging lead, allowing
the battery to be charged outside of the
vehicle. It is recommended that battery
charging be conducted outside of the
vehicle. Never operate the charger with
the vehicle engine running.
2. Remove the discharged battery
pack from the plane. Plug the battery
pack into the charger connector. The
battery pack will plug in only one way.
3. Rotate the timer knob on the
charger to 30 minutes. Make sure the
red light comes on.

  • Page 2 ❏ 4. IMPORTANT! NEVER LEAVE A CHARGING BATTERY UNATTENDED. ❏ 5. During charging, feel the battery to see if it is starting to warm up. A warmed up (but not hot) battery pack is a sign that it is fully charged. Once the pack is warm, disconnect it from the charger.
