    INTRODUÇÃO Agradecemos a sua escolha, este aparelho Electric Co irá certamente facilitar o seu dia-a-dia. Leia atentamente este manual de instruções antes de colocar o aparelho em funcionamento, para que possa tirar o máximo partido do mesmo, e guarde-o para referência futura.

    Se armazenar o aparelho num local com temperatura inferior a 0º C, não o utilize de imediato, permita que a sua temperatura normalize num local quente, pelo menos durante 1 hora. UTILIZAÇÃO DO APARELHO Cuidados a ter antes e durante a medição da pressão arterial - Pessoas com arritmia não devem utilizar este aparelho.
  • Page 5 - Pressione o botão “INICIAR” (E) para iniciar a medição da pressão arterial. A braçadeira (G) enche e o símbolo “ ♥“ aparece intermitentemente. - Após a medição, os resultados da pressão sistólica, diastólica e pulsação são exibidos no mostrador (A) (ver fig. 6). - Os resultados obtidos e a data e hora são automaticamente memorizados após 10 segundos, no grupo de memória que estiver seleccionado.
  • Page 6 Nota: Cada grupo tem capacidade para memorizar 30 registos. Ao efectuar a 31ª medição, será apagado automaticamente o 1º resultado gravado em memória, sendo substituído pelo novo resultado obtido. Esta situação acontece independentemente dos restantes grupos ainda disporem de memória livre. Avaliação dos resultados - Foram estabelecidos os seguintes padrões de avaliação da pressão arterial (sem diferenciação de idade ou sexo) como indicadores, em função do padrão definido pela Organização Mundial de Saúde (OMS).

    PREPARING FOR USE Cautions before and during blood pressure measurement - Persons with arrhythmia should not use this appliance. - Avoid eating, smoking and practise intensive activity 30 minutes before measuring. - Remain sitting down while measuring and make sure that the cuff (G) stays at the same level of the heart, so that the accuracy will not be affected.
  • Page 13 - The appliance will turn-off automatically after 3 minute of non-use. - If you prefer to turn it off manualy, press the button “INICIAR” (E) during 2 seconds.
