For example, DVR1604S has 16 audio inputs, 1 audio output, I bidirectional audio input. Each alarm input can be either normally open or normally closed. Once configured, an alarm input can invoke many different activities, including triggering a relay device, sending an alert to a security office or storing pre-alarm video to the DVR.
