SP-5001: Solar Media Player Plus
The SP-5001 Solar Media Player Plus from Secur Products has a water-
resistant protective carrying case, mobile solar charger, power bank and
media player all wrapped into one. The SP-5001 contains a lithium polymer
battery that can be charged electronically at home or on-the-go with the
built-in solar panel. With two 3-watt speakers, the SP-5001 amplifies the
sound from your mobile phone, computer, MP4, PSP and any other audio
system it can connect to. It will also charge in the sun while you are using
it. In addition, the SP-5001's energy test button conveniently displays the
remaining charge capacity of the battery.

an external USB power supply before first use.

operating instruCtions:

1. Charging the built-in battery:
• Before charging the built-in battery, please push the power switch to the
"OFF" position. (Picture 1)
• You may charge the SP-5001's built-in battery with (1) the built-in solar
panel or (2) any external USB power source. For charging from an external
USB power source use the 2 Male USB plugs on the multi-plug adaptor
included with the product.
*For maximum charge efficiency, position the SP-5001's solar panel so it
face the sun directly (Picture 2). The blue charge indicator light will turn on
when the solar panel is charging the battery.
• Use the male USB cable to connect the SP-5001 to the USB port in any
external USB power supply. Connect the other Male USB plug into the fe-
male USB port on the SP-5001. The blue charge indicator will turn on when
charging and it will turn off automatically when charging is complete.
2. Charging Digital DeviCes:
• Before charging any digital device, push the power switch to the
"ON" position.
• Use the multi-plug adaptor for Apple Lightning or Micro USB devices.
Plug the small plug adaptor into your device and plug the male USB plug
into the female USB plug built into the SP-5001. For any other devices
please use the USB cable supplied with your device and plug the male USB
plug into the female USB plug built into the SP-5001.
• To conserve power, always turn the power switch off when not in use.

3. speakers:

• Before using the speakers, push the speaker switch to "ON".
The blue indicator light will come on. (Picture 4)
• Use the round male 3.5mm aux plug to plug into your speaker or
headphone jack on your smart phone, MP3 player or other audio device.
• Use your audio device to adjust the volume. (Picture 5)
•To conserve power, always turn the speaker switch off when not in use.
