This switch will override power to the heater to prevent the heater from being acciden- tally or unintentionally powered on. This feature is primarily added to help prevent children from powering on the heater when it is not desired.

The master power can be powered on and all the other unit functions can be off. When the power button is powered on the ember bed(logs) will have a slight glow to act as a power indicator.
