My question is about Taylor 7516. The scale would not weight and indicated Lo. Replaced the 3 batteries as required but the scale still indicates Lo.

If your Taylor 7516 scale displays a "Lo" indicator even after replacing the batteries, follow these steps:

1. Check Battery Installation – Ensure the batteries are correctly installed with the correct polarity (+ and - aligned properly).

2. Use Fresh Batteries – Make sure you are using new, high-quality batteries of the correct type. Weak or expired batteries may not provide enough power.

3. Clean the Battery Contacts – Remove the batteries and check for any dirt, corrosion, or residue on the battery contacts. Clean them with a dry cloth or a small amount of rubbing alcohol on a cotton swab.

4. Reset the Scale – Remove the batteries and leave them out for at least 10 minutes. Then reinstall the batteries and turn the scale back on.

5. Check for Damage – Inspect the battery compartment and scale for any visible damage or loose connections.

6. Place on a Hard, Flat Surface – Ensure the scale is used on a stable, level surface to function properly.

7. Try a Different Set of Batteries – If the issue persists, test the scale with another set of fresh batteries to rule out battery-related problems.

If the "Lo" indicator still appears after these steps, the scale may have an internal issue and may require repair or replacement.
