1. Before You Start Before using Silk’n™ for the first time, please read this User Manual in its entirety. Pay particular attention to sections on device use procedures, device operation, and after-use procedures. We recommend you re-familiarize yourself with this User Manual before each use of Silk’n™. Silk’n™... - Page 7 DO NOT USE Silk’n™ on naturally dark skin complexion! Silk’n™ removes unwanted hair by selectively addressing hair pigment. Varied quantities of pigment also exist in the surrounding tissue of skin. The quantity of pigment in a particular person’s skin, which is manifested by their skin complexion, determines the degree of risk they are exposed to using Silk’n™.

Avoid adverse effects! Do not treat the same area of skin more than once per hair removal session! Try to avoid overlapping pulses! If your skin blisters or burns, STOP USE IMMEDIATELY! Avoid complications after use of Silk’n™! Do not expose treated areas of skin to the sun. Be sure to carefully protect the treated skin with sunscreen, throughout the hair removal period and for at least 2 weeks following the last hair removal session. -

Pigment Changes Silk’n™ targets the hair shaft, in particular the pigmented cells in the hair follicle and the hair follicle itself. Nevertheless there is risk of temporary hyperpigmentation (increased pigment or brown discoloration) or hypopigmentation (whitening) to the surrounding skin. This risk of changes in skin pigmentation is higher for people with darker skin tones. -

Do not raise the energy level if you experience abnormal discomfort during or after treating with Silk'n™! (See section 2.6 - “Possible Side Effects”) Do not raise the energy level during hair removal session even if you experience no discomfort. Discomfort may also appear some time after the session. -

Covering skin areas Silk’n™ pulses should be administered in rows, starting at one end of each row and progressing sequentially towards the other end. This technique allows better control of skin coverage, and helps you avoid treating the same area more than once or overlapping skin areas. -

Side effects and complications Some patients may experience pigmentation changes resulting from treating with Silk’n™. These effects, if they occur, are generally mild and transient. 8. Frequently Asked Questions 1. Does Silk’n™ really work? Yes. In clinical trials held by physicians, Silk’n™ was proven to safely achieve long-term hair removal results. 2. Where on my body can I use Silk’n™? The Silk’n™ device has been designed for full body hair removal. The most common areas treated with Silk’n™ are: legs, underarms, arms, bikini line and face. - Page 19 9. When will I see results from Silk’n™? As with any light-based or laser hair removal device, results are not immediate, and in fact you may not think anything happened at all. Hair may sometimes appear to be growing back after a hair removal session, but typically after two weeks many of these hairs will simply fall out.
