  • Page 3 IMPORTANT! Read this manual carefully. Keep it for future use. Your child could be injured if the instructions in this user manual are not followed. WARNINGS! It can be dangerous to leave your child without supervision Check that all locking mechanisms are activated before use Do not use a mattress that is thicker than 30 millimetres. Always use a harness when a child can sit independently The sitting position is not suitable for children under six months old. The pram/stroller’s stability is reduced when a load is placed on the handlebar.
  • Page 4 General information Seed has developed and constructed your pram/stroller in accordance with the strictest requirements, including the safety standards EN 1888:2003+A1/A2/A3:2005, AS 2088:2000 ASTM F833-07a. and BS 7409:1996 In a number of areas we have gone even further to ensure your child’s safety and to give you and other users of the pram/stroller the greatest possible security. When you unpack your Seed Pli for the first time It is important to us that you have received the correct product, that it is in good order, and that you are happy to use your Seed Pli. When you unpack your Seed Pli for the first time, you should ensure that the product is undamaged and that nothing is missing. If parts are missing, you should contact the dealer from whom you purchased your Seed Pli. In the package you will find: •...
  • Page 5 The red and the green grips To facilitate use of the pram/stroller, we have chosen to use the colours red and green for the user-grips. RED: Here you must be extra careful. If you are in doubt, read the manual again. GREEN: There is no danger involved in the use of the green grips. Always be aware when you use your Seed Pli Check the red and green grips. Are they correctly locked? Check the brake. Check that the Softshell is correctly fitted to the chassis. If the pram/stroller is to be used as a pushchair, you must ensure that the Softshell is correctly fitted and that the child is harnessed.
  • Page 6 Preparing the chassis • P lace the chassis on edge with the wheels towards you and hold the handlebar. (1) • I f your stroller is fitted with swivel wheels, the wheels must be in “locked” position.(24) • Take hold of the wheels and pull them outwards to each side. (2) • P ull the rear axle casing in towards yourself to the locked position, when you hear a clearly audible click from each side, the wheels are locked. (3) • Place the chassis so that it is standing on its wheels. (4) • A pply the brake. (15) • P ull the handlebar up until it locks and you hear a clearly audible click on both sides.(5) • Adjust the handlebar with the help of the green grip to the height that you require. (13,6) • If your stroller is fitted with swivel wheels, the wheels can now be unlocked.
  • Page 7 Removing the Softshell The Softshell can be released from the chassis by simultaneously pressing in the two safety buttons on the fitting installations and lifting up. (8,7) Preparing for use as a pushchair WARNING! The seat is not suitable for children under 6 months. WARNING! The mattress must be removed before using as a pushchair.

How to adjust the height of the handlebar (13) Release the green grip on the handlebar to adjust the height for maximum comfort. How to adjust the lying position (9, 10) With the help of the two green comfort-grips on the Softshell, you can place the box in a horizontal position and a good lying position for the child as a pram and adjust the sitting position when it is used as a pushchair. They should be released simulta- neously by pressing them back. Use of harness and harness rings WARNING! Always use the harness when the child can sit independently, irrespective of whether the pram/stroller is used as a pram or a pushchair.
  • Page 9 When using as a pram, the hood can be fitted by first zipping it on from the left side (seen from the pushing direction) and clicking the two grey plastic grips onto the side of the Softshell. (19) When using as a pushchair, the hood is fitted in the same way to the other end of the Softshell. How to brake your Seed Pli (15) When you press the brake pedal down; located at the rear of the chassis you lock the rear wheels so that your Seed Pli cannot move. When you want to release the wheels, press up on the underside of the pedal. WARNING! Never use the brake while the pram/stroller is moving. How to fold your Seed Pli • Apply the brake. (15) • I f your stroller is fitted with swivel wheels, the wheels must be in “locked” position. (24) • R emove the Softshell by pressing in the two safety buttons on the side of the assembly installation.
  • Page 10 Important! Use only original Seed accessories and spare parts When you use the cape, the insect or other accessories it is important that the accessory fits onto your Seed Pli. You must always ensure that it is correctly fitted so that your child cannot pull it into the pram/stroller and suffer injury. Ask your dealer for advice if necessary. Service and maintenance Your Seed Pli must be regularly maintained to maximise its lifetime. Maintenance of the chassis Brush off dust and dirt after use. Wash the pram/stroller regularly. Use warm water for the rims and wheels and dry afterwards with a cloth. After cleaning with water you should apply a thin layer of acid-free oil to the alu- minium parts. Acid-free oil can also be used for the general care of the alumini- um parts of the pram/stroller. This will maximise its lifetime.
  • Page 11 Maintenance of Softshell If the textile parts of the Softshell become wet, they must always be allowed to dry in a stretched-out position. This will prevent the textile from becoming mouldy and from possible discolouring. The material can be wiped down with a damp cloth or sponge. WARNHINWEISE Lassen Sie das Kind niemals unbeaufsichtigt. Kontrollieren Sie vor jedem Gebrauch, ob alle Verriegelungen eingerastet sind. Verwenden Sie keine Matratzen, die die dicker als 30 Millimeter sind. Gurten Sie das Kind stets an, sobald es alleine sitzen kann. Die Sitzposition ist für Kinder unter 6 Monaten nicht geeignet.

Vor dem erstmaligen Gebrauch des Seed Pli Für uns ist es wichtig, dass Sie die richtige Ware erhalten haben, dass diese keine Mängel aufweist und dass Sie an Ihrem Seed Pli Freude haben. Beim erstmaligen Auspacken sollten Sie kontrollieren, ob die Ware unbeschädigt und vollständig ist. Fehlen Teile, setzen Sie sich bitte umgehend mit dem Händler in Verbindung, bei dem Sie den Seed Pli gekauft haben.
  • Page 18 Sämtliche Reklamationen sind an den Händler zu richten Bewahren Sie stets den Kassenbon auf und halten Sie die Gestellnummer Ihres See Pli Gestells und der Softschale bereit. Garantienachweis Ihr Kassenbon gilt als Garantienachweis für den Kauf. Ihr Seed Pli hat eine Gestellnummer Die Gestellnummer befindet sich rechts neben der Feststellbremse. Die Gestellnummer der Softschale befindet sich am Rahmen vorne unten. So benutzen Sie Ihren Seed Pli Die roten und grünen Hebel: Um Ihnen die Bedienung des Kinderwagens zu erleichtern, haben wir für die Bedienhebel die Farben Rot und Grün gewählt.
  • Page 19 Aufstellen des Gestells • S tellen Sie das Gestell hochkant, wobei die Räder zu Ihnen gerichtet sind, und halten dabei am Schiebebügel fest. (1) • W enn Ihr Kinderwagen Schwenk-Rädern ausgestattet ist, müssen die Räder in „gesperrt“ Position stehen. (24) • Fassen Sie die Räder und ziehen Sie sie zur Seite heraus. (2) • Ziehen Sie die Radaufhängung auf jeder Seite zu sich heran, bis sie deutlich hörbar einrastet.
  • Page 20 Abnehmen der Softschale Die Softschale lässt sich vom Gestell lösen, indem man die beiden Sicherheitsknöpfe am Montagebeschlag gleichzeitig eindrückt und die Schale heraushebt. (8) Aufbau zum Sportwagen WARNUNG! Der Sitz ist für Kinder unter 6 Monaten nicht geeignet. WARNUNG! Für den Gebrauch als Sportwagen ist die Matratze zu entfernen. • D ie Softschale wird so eingesetzt, dass die beiden grünen Bedienhebel in Richtung Schiebebügel zeigen.
  • Page 21 WARNUNG! Kontrollieren Sie vor jedem Gebrauch, ob alle Verriegelungen eingerastet sind. So stellen Sie die Höhe des Schiebebügels ein (13) Lösen Sie den grünen Hebel am Schiebebügel, um die passende Höhe einzustellen. So stellen Sie die Liegestellung ein (9, 10) Mit Hilfe der beiden grünen Bedienhebel an der Softschale können Sie die Wanne waagerecht und in eine für das Kind bequemer Liegestellung positionieren bzw. die Sitzposition beim Gebrauch als Sportwagen einstellen.   • Page 22 Ende der Softschale montiert. Parkposition (15) Zum Feststellen der Hinterräder treten Sie die Feststellbremse ganz nach unten – ihr Seed Pli kann nun nicht mehr fahren. Um die Räder freizugeben, drücken Sie die Bremse von unten hoch. WARNUNG! Verwenden Sie die Feststellbremse niemals, während der Wagen in Bewegung ist.

Pflege und Wartung Zur Verlängerung der Lebensdauer Ihres Seed Pli ist eine regel- mäßig Pflege erforderlich. Pflege des Gestells Befreien Sie den Wagen nach Gebrauch von Schmutz und Staub.
  • Page 24 Pflege der Softschale Werden die Textilteile der Softschale nass, müssen sie stets im aufgespannten Zustand trocknen. Sie vermeiden dadurch Schimmelbildung und mögliche Verfärbungen. Der Stoff lässt sich mit einem feuchten Tuch oder einem weichen Schwamm abwischen.
