DYNAMODE 850VA UPS
Introduction
The Dynamode 850 UPS is a low cost solution for electronic device protection for both
Computers and other electronic sensitive devices such as Networking Devices,
Multimedia and Broadcast equipment. Please take time to read the following so you can
get acquainted with this device

Charging the UPS for the first time

In order to fully use the internal Battery of the UPS in the event of a power cut, the UPS
will first need to be charged for the first time, after unpacking the product.
Please place the UPS in a suitable, level position, away from heat sources. Connect the
supplied Power Cable into the rear (bottom, male IEC socket) of the UPS. Connect the
UK Plug into a suitable electrical wall outlet.
Important note: The Dynamode 850VA UPS should be charged for at least 6 ~ 8 hours
without any load (i.e. devices connected to it) so to fully charge its internal Battery!
To confirm the UPS is charging, there is a Yellow LED on the front of the device. It will
glow Yellow when the Battery is charging.

Starting up the UPS

Before starting the UPS, please connect any Computer devices or equipment to the rear,
female IECs at the back of the UPS. Please do not exceed the maximum rating of the
UPS as this may cause the UPS to fail and thus not provide protection for your
equipment.
1. Once input Power to the UPS is confirmed, please press the front, top-right
On/Off button for around 3 Seconds to activate the UPS, a bleep will also sound
2. If normal, external Power is being feed into the UPS the Green LED will glow,
this is confirmation the UPS is running correctly
Important note: Please do not plug Fax, Scanners or Printers into the UPS as these may
cause voltage spikes and reduce UPS performance!
