- Page 3 HOGAR FOGOMAR ® • MANUAL OF ASSEMBLY AND USE Components HOGAR FOGOMAR ® is a model of open fireplace that is carefully designed to provide a greater level of performance and safety. It is made with heat-resistant walls and a steel hood with an adjustable draught by means of a handle.
- Page 4 • The fireplace decorative elements can be assembled together with plaster (not adding esparto), but never HOGAR FOGOMAR with the decorative fit- ® tings. Neither can the air chamber between the two be filled up, as it is nece- sessary to allow the free expansion of the fireplace.
- Page 5 • The tubes should be joined with a narrow tip poin- ting upwards. In the section that runs through the hood, between the HOGAR FOGOMAR ® fireplace and the iron tube, the sealing off must be faultless. This can be achieved using fireproof putty.
- Page 6 Lighting and control PLEASE NOTE: It is important to carry out the FIRST LIGHTING with LITTLE FIRE, and then gradually increase the load in subsequent lightings. • Before lighting the HOGAR FOGOMAR ® , ensure that the damper blade is open.
