2.   F ind   o ut   w hat   t he   D HCP   r ange   i s   o f   t he   w ireless   r outer.   I n   t his   e xample,   w e   u se   1 92.168.0.100   t o   1 92.168.0.200.  
3.   S et   t he   l ocal   I P   a ddress   t o   1 92.168.0.201.  
 
The   s econd   o ption   o n   t he   i nterface   i s   t he   D HCP   f unction.   T he   D ynamic   H ost   C onfiguration   P rotocol   ( DHCP)   i s   a   s tandardized

automatically   f rom   a   D HCP   s erver,   r educing   t he   n eed   f or   a   n etwork   a dministrator   o r   a   u ser   t o   c onfigure   t hese   s ettings

Disable:   T he   D HCP   s erver   f unction   i s   t urned   o ff.   T he   w ireless   r ange   e xtender   w ill   n ot   p rovide   I P   a ddress   i nformation   t o   a ny  
of   t he   c onnected   c omputers   o r   n etworking   d evices.  
 
Server:   T he   D HCP   s erver   f unction   i s   a ctivated.   C onnected   n etworking   d evices   o btain   I P   a ddress   i nformation   f rom   t he  
wireless   r ange   e xtender.  
 
Auto:   I n   t his   m ode,   t he   w ireless   r ange   e xtender   a ctivates   a nd   d eactivates   t he   D HCP   s erver   a s   n eeded.   T his   i s   b y   f ar   t he   b est  
choice.   E ven   u sers   w ith   e xperience   i n   n etworking   t ypically   s hould   l eave   t his   f eature   o n   a uto.

to   c onnect   t o   t he   d evice's   W eb   a dmin   i nterface.   S o,   i f   y ou  
want   t o   b e   a ble   t o   c onnect   t o   t he   a ccess   p oint's   a dmin  
interface   w ithout   c hanging   t he   w ireless   s ettings   o f   y our  
network   a dapter,   o r   i f   y ou   w ant   t o   u se   t he   s cheduler
