Press the assigned programmable key to enable the
Individual Calling on the APCO Project 25 Digital
System.
To return to the Group Calling on the APCO Project
25, press again the assigned key.
To activate the Individual Calling
r Press the assigned programmable key to enable
the Individual Calling.
r Press the [ Ý ] key to start to input the destination
ID via the Keypad. The "ID - - > 0 " notation will
appear on the LCD.
r Input the destination ID (Either decimal or Hex
format) via the Keypad.
r Press the [ Ý ] key, then press the PTT switch to
call the destination radio. The radio will transmit
with the destination ID.

Press the assigned programmable key to select the TX
mode. Available selections are:
TX Mixed: The VX-P820 transmits in the Analog
Mode, when after receiving the analog
signal. Meanwhile, the VX-P820 trans-
mits in the Digital Mode, when after re-
ceiving the digital signal.
TX Digital: The VX-P820 transmits in the Digital
Mode.
TX Analog: The VX-P820 transmits in the Analog
Mode.
