  • Page 5 Assembly • Place the oil cooking pan into the stainless base • Slide the main electrical control assembly into the plastic guide rails on the side of the unit. Ensure it is fitted correctly. Refer product description illustration. NOTE. The appliance will not work unless the control assembly is fitted correctly to the base unit. It has a safety switch (part # 16) which is activated when the control assembly is correctly fitted to the base unit.
  • Page 6 Operation • Prepare food to be cooked. • Place the appliance on a heat resistant surface at least 20cm away from any other object. Do not use near water, combustible material or other heat sources such as gas or electric hot plates, curtains, walls, cupboards, stored material or any other material that may pose a risk of fire.
  • Page 7 • Remove oil from the pan. It is suggested a funnel be used to ensure spillage is at a minimum. • Wash the oil pan, basket and basket handle in hot soapy water, dry with a dry towel. • Wipe the stainless base with a warm damp cloth, dry with a dry towel. When required the stainless base may be washed in hot soapy water also, dry fully before use.
