time of the tape and the relative posltlon of programs on
the tape.

Before starting recordinq or playback, press CLEAR1
RESET to set the counter to "0~00~00s". By noting the
counter reading at the d e s i r d point, you can easily find
that point later by referring to
the
counter.
Use
the label
on the cassette to llst the programs and thelr counter
readings.

Notes
The counter reading Is automatically reset to zero
when
a
cassette
is newly Inserted.
The counter reading wlll be retained In the memory
even after the power Is turned off, as long as the
cassette is In the cassette compartment.
The counter will not advance durlng
any
portion
of a
tape
that is
blank or unrecorded. So the counter can
be used to find unrecorded portlons on a tape.
TAPE RETURNflAPE RETURN PLAY
-To stop the tape at a partlcular polnt or play back
from a partlcular polnt
1 During recording or playback, press CLEARIRESET at
the polnt you want to locate later.
2 When recording or playback is finished, stop the tape
and press
TAPE RETURN.
The tape wlll be rewound or advance close
to
the
polnt where the counter reads
"0~00~00s".
