How to turn up the water temperature
To adjust the water temperature on a State Water Heaters EN6-50-DORT 100:
1. Turn OFF electrical power to the water heater at the circuit breaker panel or remove the circuit’s fuses.
2. Open the access panel to reach the thermostat(s).
3. Use a flat-head screwdriver to adjust the thermostat(s) to the desired temperature setting. The factory setting is approximately 120°F.
4. After adjusting, replace the insulation and access panel.
5. Turn the power back ON.
WARNING: If you increase the temperature and do not have properly installed or adjusted Thermostatic Mixing Valves, there is a risk of scalding.
