    PRODUCT REFERENCE: REMOTE The remote is an IR remote, and it can control any Core. Because it is IR, it should be pointed toward the front of the Core and have clear line-of-sight to the Core. The remote can control any Core.

    Bluetooth devices select “Core-xxxxxx” (where xxxxxx are six alphanumeric characters). When the source device and the Core are paired and connected, the LED indicator on the Core stops fl ashing and remains solid blue. Once a Bluetooth connection is made the LED will be BLUE 3.

    VIA NFC If the Core is on, simply tap the unlocked, NFC-enabled phone or tablet at the top center of the Core to make an instant connection. The Core switches to Bluetooth mode, pairs with the device and establishes a connection. This process will also disconnect the current Bluetooth connection, if any, to the Core.

    • If the NFC pairing process is not successful, restart the device you are pairing with the Core and repeat the process. • When the source device and the Core are connected via Bluetooth, select music on the source device to play it through the Core.

    LED will be WHITE. OPTICAL (DIGITAL) CONNECTION The Core includes an Optical digital connector so you can connect to digital sound sources such as a home theatre system or cable box or TV. 1. Connect an optical audio cable from the sound source to the OPTICAL input.

    CD quality. This does not use or require a wireless home network. One Core speaker functions as the transmitter and all other units receive and play the signal or can be configured as independent speakers.

    All units ship with Channel 1 selected by default. To select a different channel for a group, follow the below instructions on each Core unit that you want to be in this separate group: 1. Turn off the Core and disconnect the power adapter.

    2. When a call is received on the smartphone, the Core switches to Speakerphone operation. The music volume fades and the LED indicator turns green. Press the SOURCE key to answer the call or simply answer on your smartphone. NOTE: So the caller can hear you clearly, ensure the microphone on the front of the Core faces your general direction when speaking.

  • Page 19 • Lower the volume setting on the source device and/or the Core. • Insure the surface the Core is sitting on is not interfering with the sound. • The battery may be low. Connect the power adapter.

    1. Disconnect the power adapter from the Core. 2. Remove the wireless module at the back of the Core. Be careful to not touch or damage the pins. 3. Use a small-tip tool to gently press the Reset switch. The unit will power off completely.

    * Battery life can vary according to volume level or music being used. CARING FOR yOUR CORE • Clean the Core using a soft cloth only. Household cleaners and solvents can damage the exterior. • The Core’s grill is not removable. Tampering with the grill may damage your Core.
