    Getting Started After making sure that everything is connected properly and that the player is plugged in, press POWER on the front panel to switch the player on. Also, switch on your TV and make sure that it is set to the input you connected the DVD player to. Switching On The front panel POWER button switches the player on and off.

The initial settings are retained until they are next changed, even if the power is turned off.
