Features
Electronic Range
Select Mode
This feature allows
you to select the low
driving gears. The
button for this mode
is located on the shift
lever knob.
To enable the electronic range select
mode, the shift lever must be in the
LOW (L) position.
Pressing the "+" and "–" sides of the
switch will cycle through low gears 3, 2
and 1.
The chosen gear selection will be indi-
cated in the cluster PRNDL.

Speed Sensitive Wipers
Rotate the windshield wiper stalk to the
intermittent wiper position (
In this setting, the wiper speed will
change with vehicle speed, increasing
as you drive faster and decreasing when
you slow down.

High Efficiency Air Outlets for Rear
Seat Comfort
The two upper air outlets located in the
center of the instrument panel are dedi-
cated to the rear seats. The outlets are
fixed to direct airflow to the rear seats
for maximum cooling efficiency and rear
passenger comfort.

Outside Heated Rearview Mirrors
(if equipped)
When you turn on the rear window
defogger, a defogger also warms the
outside mirrors to clear them of mist, ice
and snow.

Accessory Power Outlets
Your Malibu is equipped with a number
of Accessory Power Outlets (APOs) for
added convenience.
An APO/ cigarette lighter is located in
the instrument panel, ahead of the
shifter handle.
