TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

If you experience a problem with this unit, check the chart below before
calling for service.
SYMPTOM
No sound.
AM or FM, no sound.
AM/FM, poor sound.
iPod mode, no sound.

iPod mode, not

charging battery.
CAUSE
Volume is
set to minimum.
Power is not on.
Volume is
set to minimum.
Station is not tuned
properly.
FM: Telescopic
antenna is not
properly adjusted.
AM: Unit is not pos-
itioned correctly.
Incorrectly connected.
Not in iPod mode.

Not using AC adapter.

SOLUTION
Increase volume.
Press the Power button,
then the MODE button to
select AM/FM.
Increase volume.
Retune the AM or FM
broadcast station.
Reorient FM telescopic
antenna.
Rotate unit until best
reception is obtained.
Check the connection.
Press the MODE button to
select iPod mode.

Must use AC adapter.
