Before you install the door camera on door, we would recommend you test the whole system as
described in followings
For Receiver portion:
a) Plug the 1.5 meters long ultra-thin cable (4) between the receiver (2) and Connector Box (6), and then plug the 10meters long RCA
cable (7) to video output ( yellow plug) of the Connector Box (6).
b) Connecting the end of the 10 meter long RCA cable to a TV screen for video viewing.
c) Power on TV, and set your TV LCD monitor at composite video input mode
d) Connecting the 12 VDC power supply (9) to the connector box (6) and power on the receiver. (please don't change the default
receiver preset channel, we tested the camera with the receiver at its channel, before we ship the item to you)
For Camera portion:
a) Connecting 5.8GHz door camera (1) with the 5 meters long cable (3), and then connecting its end to the DC connector for camera (5),
and finally plug it to the 5V DC power supply (8) .
b) Once you plug the 5V DC power supply (8) for door camera, you should be able to see the video on TV screen now.
2. After you install the door camera on door, now you have to find the best location for the receiver.
• We recommend you starting with a line-of-sight (LOS) location between camera and receiver for a good wireless signal receiving.
• As you are trying to move the receiver around for finding a good spot for the receiver, you may find as you move receiver far away from
the door camera or out of LOS with the door camera, the video image shown on TV will begin to show white spot noise. It implying that
the receiver is not getting good signal from camera at that particular location, and you will have to try another location for a better signal
receiving.
• We design the receiver coming with a 1.5meter long ultra-thin cable allowing you to attaching the receiver on wall and putting the
receiver at a position with a similar height to the wireless door camera, as a better approach for getting good video signal.
Note:
In case you like to install the door camera with a far distance (under line-of sight condition) for the receiver, and the video signal
from the door camera is not strong enough for the receiver, you may contact us for buying
the signal receiving distance.
