TO LISTEN TO THE RADIO

Press the RADIO ON/BAND button
once to turn the unit on and select
radio. Repeatedly press to select the
desired band (AM, FM). Slide the FM
RADIO switch
to the STEREO or MONO position as
desired. Sound present in Stereo
broadcasts can be reduced by sliding
this switch to the MONO position.

Adjust the volume using the VOLUME
+/– buttons .
Press the POWER OFF button
turn the unit off.
Antennas
FM: Extend the FM Antenna wire for better FM reception.
AM: Turn the unit for better AM reception.

Tune a station by pressing the
TUNE/SKIP or
Press and hold the TUNE/SKIP
or button and the unit will scan
and stop on the next strong station.

Tune a station as described in step 2
above, then press the RADIO SET
button once; the MEMO indicator
will blink. Press the RECALL button
to select a radio preset number, then
press the RADIO SET button
to confirm and the radio preset will be
set. To set the alarm station ("AL" will
appear), see page 14.
