Get Your Device Ready _
Insert the Battery
1. Press down on the battery cover and slide it away
from the camera lens to remove it.
2. Insert the battery into the battery compartment
and gently press down until it clicks into place.
3. Replace the battery cover.
Note: If you have purchased an optional microSD
memory card, insert it into the slot on the left side above
the battery, and then insert the battery.
Charge the Battery
• Plug the flat end of the charger into the device's
charger/accessory jack and then plug the other end
into an electical outlet.
Turn the Phone On
• Press and hold
to turn the phone on.

Activate Your Device _

Activate Your Device
• If you purchased your device at a Sprint Store, it is
probably activated and ready to use.
• If you received your device in the mail, and it is a new
Sprint account or a new phone number, your phone is
designed to activate automatically when you first turn
it on. To confirm your activation, make a phone call.
• If you received your device in the mail and it is going
to be activated on an existing number (you're
swapping phones), go to sprint.com/activate and
follow the instructions.
When you have finished, make a phone call to
confirm your activation. If your device is still not
activated or you do not have access to the Internet,
contact Sprint Customer Service at 1-888-211-4727
for assistance.
