Set up and manage Wireless Access Points (WAPs).
From the Home screen, touch

• Wi-Fi: Touch to turn Wi-Fi On or Off.
• Notify me: When enabled, your device automatically notifies you
about nearby Wi-Fi networks when you launch high data usage
applications.
• Wi-Fi sleep policy: Specify when to automatically turn off Wi-Fi.
This setting can affect the behavior of devices you connect to your
device, such as when tethering or using your device as a portable
hotspot.
• Add Wi-Fi network: Enter the Network SSID and security
credentials for a new Wi-Fi network.

Mobile Hotspot
Use Mobile Hotspot to share your device's mobile data network
connection with a PC or other device via Wi-Fi. For more
information about using your device as a mobile hotspot, see
"Mobile Hotspot" on page 54.
Turning Mobile Hotspot On or Off
From the Home screen, touch

Touch Mobile Hotspot to turn the hotspot On or Off. When

on, a check appears in the checkbox.
Note: Using your device as a mobile hotspot consumes battery power and
increases your data usage. Roaming while using your device as a
mobile hotspot will incur extra data charges.
