To become better acquaintedwith
the defrostfunction, defrost frozen
pork chops by followingthe steps
below.
Step 1:Placea l-lb.packageoffi-ozen
chops in the ovenand close door.
Step 4: TouchST~T. "DEF
'HME" and "POWER 3" show and
time counts down on display.When
cycleis completed, the oven signals
and flashes"Endj'then automatically
shuts
Off.
Step 5: Turn package over, close
door and repeat Steps 2 and 3 to set
remaining half of defrostingtime
and touch STMT.
Step 6: When oven signalsand
flashes "End~'open door, remove
package and separate chops to
finish defrosting.
~ Foods frozen in paper or plastic
can be defrosted in the package.
Step 2: Touch TIME DEFROST
Display shows : 0 and "POWER
3V "ENTER DEF TIME" flashes.

A. Cookbook times are averages.
Defrosting time can vary according
to the temperature in your freezer.
Set your oven for the time indicated
in your cookbook. If your food is
still not completely thawed at the
end of that time, reset your oven
and adjust the time accordingly.
Q. Shouid.all foods be completely
thawed before cook-kg?
A. Some foods should not be
completely thawed before cooking.
For example, fish cooks so quickly
it is better to begin cooking while it
is still slightly frozen.
Q. Can I open the door during
