Intended use:
The wood burning iron is intended exclusively for use
in dry interior areas. It serves as an appliance for
marking and inscribing wood and leather by means
of heated metal stamps or heated tips.
Any other use is not permitted and can lead to injuries.
In these cases, the manufacturer carries
no liability.
Safety instructions:
CAUTION! When not in use, this tool must be
placed on its stand.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with restricted physical,
sensory or intellectual abilities or lacking experience
and/or lacking knowledge unless they are
supervised by a person responsible for their safety
or they receive instructions on how to use the
appliance.
Children should be supervised in order to ensure
that they do not play with the appliance.
In order to avoid hazards, if the mains connection
of this appliance is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer or his customer
service or a similarly qualified person.
A fire can break out if the appliance is not handled
carefully.
Ensure that the connecting cable does not come
into contact with heat, oil or sharp edges. Damaged
connecting cables can cause fires, short-circuits
and electric shocks.
Before use, remove combustible objects, liquids
and gases from the working area of the
appliance. Keep your working area clean in order
to prevent accidents.
Before use, check that the tool tip is correctly
attached to the appliance. The hot tips and
their receptacles must not be brought into contact
with skin, hair, etc. Risk of burns.
After use, place the appliance on the stand and
allow to cool down before packing away.
As long as it is in use, do not leave the appliance
unsupervised.
When the appliance is not in use, store it in a safe
place protected from dust and moisture.
Check the appliance for damage. Do not use if
damaged!
During use, ensure adequate ventilation. Ensure
that no poisonous gases or vapours can
be inhaled. Wear protective clothing.
For longer work interruptions, disconnect the
appliance from the voltage source.
Observe national and international safety, health
and work protection regulations.
