if you set signal to the "on''position, a buzzer will sound approximately one minute before
completion of the cycle to alert you that your garments are ready to be removed. If
Permanent Press or Polyester Knits garments are being dried, they should be removed
nmed!ately to help prevent the setting of wrinkles.

Setting the signal to the "off" position or advancingdial pointer to an "off" area will terminate
the sound. Select the "off" position if you do not wish for buzzer to sotind.

To minimize wrinkles set in the clothes, the EXTRA CARE feature provides continuous,
no-heat tumbling after the garments are dry.

PossibleReasons
Dryer won't start
69 Make sure cord is plugged in. Do not use extension cord with dryer.
$3 Check fuses and circuit breaker to make sure dryer is getting current.
(Open door to see if drum lamp is working.)
63 Make sure controls are set, and start switch is pressed. Opening the door during
operation stops the dryer. To re-start, close door and press the start switch.
@ Make sure door is securely closed. Dryer will not run with door open,
6?$ Do not operate other appliances on the same electrical outlet or circuit while the
dryer is operating.

@ Make sure lint filter is thoroughly cleaned. Clean area under lint filter with vacuum
drying time is too long.

@ Check all controls to make sure they are correctly set for the load you want to
dry.
@ Check fuses or circuit breakers. (Most electric dryers have 2 fuses or circuit
breakers.)
@ Make sure dryer is ducted in accordance with installation instructions.
@ Make sure outside ducting is clean and free of obstructions.
49 Make sure damper in outside wall cap operates easily.
@ If flexible ducting is used, be sure it is not kinked.
