Lower the diskette drive into the carrier Figure 2 Installing the diskette drive in the optical bay drive carrier Align the rear screws on the drive with the channel in the carrier To fully seat the diskette drive in the carrier, the carrier cannot be in contact with a solid surface.
To install the drive carrier and diskette drive, disengage the optical bay release latch while inserting the carrier into the optical drive bay Figure 4 Installing the carrier in the optical bay Slide the carrier into the bay. Release the latch just before the carrier is fully seated, to enable the latch pins to engage.
