Setting the Paper Near End Sensor

Change the sensor position according to the printer installation and the inner diameter of the roll
paper.
Refer to the following table, hold down the concave part in the center of the sensor with your finger
and move it right or left to the position suitable for the working condition. (When shipped from the
factory, it is set at φ24 mm.)

The remaining roll paper (outer diameter of the roll paper) differs greatly according to the type of
roll paper used. Use these values as guidelines.

If the sensor has detected the remaining roll paper during printing, the printer stops printing
when all the received data has been printed.

If you are using a model with parallel (IEEE1284) interface, you can select either "enabled" or
"disabled" state for the sensor in the soft SW setting mode.

If you are using a model with serial (RS232C) interface, the sesor is always enabled.

The above figure shows a standard model.
