System Overview

Thank you for purchasing XC REC 8, an entertainment PC (ePC). The system unit is
designed to integrate the functions of the following appliances:

DVD player

Personal video recorder

AC3 decoder

PC game console
To fully make use the functions mentioned above, the user needs to get the Media Center
Edition (MCE) software provided by Microsoft Corp. With the MCE, a user can turn the
