Interrupting the programme
To interrupt the wash programme before it is complete, turn the pro-

gramme selector to OFF.
The wash programme can be interrupted at any time with the START/

PAUSE button and can be continued by pressing the button again.

Wash Cycle Complete/Removing Washing

Once the wash programme has come to an end, END is illuminated on
the programme progress display.
The washing machine switches to standby mode if no button is pressed

or the programme selector is not turned within approx. 3 minutes after
the end of the programme. Only END is illuminated from behind. All
other displays on the control panel are switched off in order to save en-
ergy. Pressing any button cancels the standby mode.
• If the EASY IRON programme has been selected there will be an anti-
crease stage of approx. 30 minutes after the programme has ended.
The multi-display indicates that 1 minute still remains and the END
indicator is illuminated. You can open the door at any time during
the anti-creasing stage and remove the washing.
• If spin speed 0 (rinse hold) has been selected START/PAUSE will flash.

1. After a rinse hold, the water must first be pumped out:
– Press either the START/PAUSE button (the water will be pumped out
and the washing spun in accordance with the programme which has
just been completed; the spin speed can also be changed during spin-
ning using the SPIN SPEED button, or
– Turn the programme selector to DRAIN and press the START/PAUSE
button (the water is pumped out without spinning), or
– Turn the programme selector to SPIN or SHORT SPIN and press the
START/PAUSE button (the water is pumped out and the washing is
spun fast or slow).
At the end of this stage of the programme END is illuminated from be-
hind.
2. Open the door.
As soon as DOOR/LIGHT is illuminated in green the door can be opened
(not when programme protection has been activated, please see "Pro-
gramme Protection").
3. Remove the washing.
4. Turn the programme selector to OFF.
5. After washing, pull out the detergent dispenser drawer slightly so that
it can dry out. Leave the door slightly ajar so that air can circulate in
the drum.
