GENERAL
RECOMMENDATIONS
The warranty on this unit does not cover items that have
been sub ected to operator abuse or negligence. To receive
full va ue from the warranty, operator must maintain unit as
instructed in this manual.
Some adjustments will need to be made periodically to prop-
erly maintain your unit.
All ad ustments in the Service and Adjustments section of
ths manua shou d be checked at least once each season.
• Once a year you should replace the spark plug, clean or
replace air filter, and check blades and belts for wear. A
new spark plug and clean air filter assure proper air-fuel
mixture and help your engine run better and last longer.

IMPORTANT: Do not oilor greasethe pivotpoints whichhave special
nylon bearings,VIsceus lubricants will attract dust and dirt that will
shortenthe life of the self-lubricating bearings. If youfselthsy must be
lubflcated, use only a dry, powdered graphite type lubricant sparingly.
