This chapter explains the component names and functions of this product.

Eject button

Press this button to eject the cartridge from the drive.

"3.1 Data Cartridges That can be Used"(pg.59)

When the device is running (when the ACTIVITY LED blinks and when loading/unloading or

writing/reading data), do not press the eject button. Wait until the operation finishes before pressing

the eject button.

LED

There are 4 LEDs as shown below, indicating self-diagnostic test when the power is on, and status

and error during operation.

READY LED

(Green)

The general meaning of each LED status is as follows. For details, refer to the list on (pg.56).

• READY LED

When this is on, it indicates that a cartridge is loaded.

• ACTIVITY LED

This blinks mainly when a cartridge is operating.
