Text input settings
To change your text input settings and see the dictionary of terms you've
used, from the Home screen, tap the Menu Key
General tab > Language & input. The following options are available in the
KEYBOARD & INPUT METHODS section.
Default - Allows you to choose the default keyboard to use when
entering text.
LG Keyboard - Tap the Settings icon
settings.
Input language and type: Allows you to select the keyboard language
and type. This is where you can select multiple languages for your
keyboard input.
Word suggestion: Allows you to set Auto correction, Suggest next
word, Advanced word suggestion, and Clear history.
Auto capitalization: Checkmark to automatically capitalize the first
letter of each new sentence.
Auto punctuation: Checkmark to automatically insert a period when
you double-tap the Space Key.
Voice input: Checkmark to show the Voice Input Key
keyboard.
Path input: Checkmark to enter a word by drawing a path through all
of the letters.
Hide keyboard: Checkmark to swipe the keyboard down to hide it.
Split keyboard: Checkmark to spread two fingers to split the
keyboard.
One-handed operation: Checkmark to allow you to position the LG
keyboard on the left or right side of the screen so that it's easier to
type with just one hand.
