48V phantom power is turned off as it is not required. Always use heavy 14-gauge speaker wires (or heavier if possible) between the Headload Prodigy and your amplifier to ensure optimal signal flow from the head to the speaker cabinet. -

This follows convention with all pro audio gear made in recent years. But when combining the JDX with older vintage gear, you may find that the input on your vintage processor may have the polarity reversed.
