Port Replicator
Confirm that Phoenix APM 2.0 for Windows NT
displayed in [Control Panel], this means that the program is installed.) If the program is
not installed, be sure to install it.
Use [Power Management] under [Advanced].
• When an attempt is made to shut Windows down after the setting for [Power Manage-
ment] (in [Start] - [Settings] - [Control Panel] - [APM 2.0 for NT] - [Settings]) has been
changed to [Standard] or [Off], the computer will not go OFF but will reboot even when
[Shut Down] is selected.
• When [Power Management] (in [Start] - [Settings] - [Control Panel] - [APM 2.0 for NT]
- [Settings]) is started up under [Standard], if the setting is changed to [Off], the setting
will not take effect until after Windows NT is restarted.
Hot Docking and Hot Undocking are not possible with the port replicator.
The reinstallation steps in the Operating Instructions of the port replicator are not
needed.
