Case Bearing Replacement - Honda 2006 TRX680FA Service Manual

Install the shim and bAtHing ont o the pinion g ear .
REAR DRIVING MECHANISM
NOTE:
• When the gear set. ring gear bear ing, and/or gear
case has been replaced, use a 2.00 mm (0.79 inl
thick shim tor initial reference.
PIN ION GEAR
SHIM
Press the pinion gear in the bearing un l it it is seat ed
by supporting the bearing with the special tool.
CASE BEARING REPLACEMENT

TOOL:
Attachm e nt , 25 mm 1 .0. 01146-0030200
Remove the oi l seals f ro m the case and cover.
Drive the bearings out o f the case and cover.

Drive each new bear ing using t he special tools.
