Care and maintenance Always switch the cooker off at the mains isolating switch before cleaning. The hob Spillage on the hob can usually be removed by a damp soapy cloth. More obstinate stains can be removed by rubbing gently with a soapy scouring pad or mild household cleaner. Avoid scratching or scraping the surface.
Preparing the oven Clean the oven thoroughly before using it for the first time; use water and soap, then rinse carefully.
