    Introduction Congratulations on your purchase of this De Longhi ceramic cooker which has been carefully designed and produced to give you many years of satisfactory use. Before using this appliance it is essential that the following instructions are carefully read and fully understood.

    Installation Electrical requirements The appliance must be connected to the mains checking that the voltage corresponds to the value given in the rating plate and that the electrical cable sections can withstand the load specified on the plate. The appliance must be connected directly to the mains placing an omnipolar switch with minimum opening between the contacts of 3 mm between the appliance and the mains.

    Care and maintenance Always switch the cooker off at the mains isolating switch before cleaning. The hob Spillage on the hob can usually be removed by a damp soapy cloth. More obstinate stains can be removed by rubbing gently with a soapy scouring pad or mild household cleaner. Avoid scratching or scraping the surface.
