Package Contents The following items are included with your purchase of the SIRIUS SUHC1 Universal Connect Home Kit. Unpack the kit carefully and make sure that everything shown is present. If anything is missing or damaged, or if the kit fails to operate properly, notify your dealer immediately. It is recommended that you retain the original carton and packing materials in case you need to ship your kit in the future. -

Installation Installing the Universal Connect Home Dock When installing the universal connect home dock in your home, choose a location in close proximity to your home entertainment system, and also where the cable from the indoor/out- door antenna can reach the home dock. The location should be easily accessible and provide good visibility of the display, and should not be located where it will be in direct sunlight which will affect the visibility of the display screen. -

Docking the SIRIUS Radio Place the SIRIUS radio into the universal connect home dock, aligning the connector on the radio with the connector on the home dock, and gently press the radio down until it is fully seated in the home dock. The exact direction is determined by your specific location in area 2 relative to the X on the map: If you live in Texas, you will need a more north facing clear view of the sky whereas if you live in southern California, you will need a more northeast facing clear view of the sky.

Connecting the AC Power Adapter Connect the AC Power Adapter to the DC5V connector at the rear of the universal connect home dock (refer to Figure 1 on page 7), and plug it into a wall outlet. Connecting the DIN Cable Connect one end of the provided DIN cable to the DIN connector at the rear of the universal connect home dock (refer to Figure 1 on page 7), and connect the other end to the SIRIUS DIN connection of your receiver. - Page 13 When you have successfully subscribed to the SIRIUS service, and the radio has been updated with your subscription information, an alert will be displayed.
