9. When Moving the Unit

Procedures from Preparing to Move Through Reinstalling

To transfer this machine, you need to secure the print heads in place with the retainers to protect them from
damage. If your ink type is the W mode or WMT mode, you also need to circulate the ink manually then. If you
transfer the machine without performing such steps, it may cause ink leakage, which can damage the internal
devices of the machine, or cause damage to the head.
Important Notes on Moving
 Once the arrangement to transfer the machine is complete, move the machine promptly,
and turn on the power immediately after the machine is relocated. If you leave the machine
without turning on the power, the deposited ink is coagulated, and it may result in problems
such as clogging of the print heads.
 When moving the machine, keep it at a temperature between 5 to 40°C (41 to 104°F) and at
relative humidity between 20 to 80% (with no condensation). Failure to do so may result in
breakdown.
 Handle the machine with care when moving, keeping it level (not tilted at an angle) and pre-
venting it from striking other objects.
