Touring Your Joybook

Wireless Network Indicator
• When WLAN is on, it lights up in
blue.
• When Bluetooth is on, it lights up
in amber.
• When WLAN and Bluetooth are
both on, it lights up in blue and
amber.
Battery Indicator
• When the battery is charging, it
lights up in amber.
• When the charging is complete, the
amber light goes off.
• Flashing blue indicates that the
battery is running low.
• Flashing amber indicates that the
battery is malfunctioning, in which
case you should contact service per-
sonnel.
Hard Disk Activity Indicator
Lights up in blue when Joybook R53 is
accessing data in the hard disk drive.
Four-in-One Memory Card
Access Indicator
Flashes when accessing a Memory
Stick, Memory Stick Pro, SD or MMC
memory card.
Caps Lock Indicator
Lights up in blue when the Caps Lock
is activated.
Num Lock Indicator
Lights up in blue when the Num Lock
is activated.
Left and Right Buttons
Equivalent to the left and right
buttons on a mouse.
Power Switch with LED
Turns Joybook R53 on or off.
• When the system is on, it lights up in
blue.
• When the system is standby, it lights up
in amber.
Internet Hotkey
Starts up the Internet Explorer Web
browser.
E-Mail Hotkey
Starts up the Outlook Express e-mail cli-
ent.
Customizable Hotkey 1
Can be customized to open an applica-
tion.
Customizable Hotkey 2
Can be customized to open an applica-
tion.
Touch Pad
For controlling the on-screen cursor. Can
be activated and deactivated by pressing the
Fn + F6 hotkey combination.
