Optical Adjustment

Convergence Adjustment

For convergence adjustment, use Green as the reference standard. Align Red and Blue with Green by adjusting
the position and angle of the Red and Blue LCD panels. Screws "A", "B", "C" (Fig.6, 7) are for convergence adjust-
ment.
[Before adjustment]
- Make sure each Red, Green and Blue LCD panel unit has been correctly installed, and that all focus adjustments
have been completed before performing convergence adjustments.
Image Movement and Screw Turning
1. Adjustment screw "A" turns the image.
2. Adjustment screw "B" moves the image right and left.
3. Adjustment screw "C" moves the image up and down
(Fig.6).
Red (or Blue) Panel convergence Adjustment
1. Input Yellow (or Cyan) color grid signal.
2. Loosen the 2 screws " D " (Fig. 6 ) using the 5.5mm spanner
wrench.
3. Turn the lines of convergence to be parallel to Green grid pattern
by adjusting screw "A". FIG.3
4. Move the lines of convergence horizontally to be matched with
Green grid pattern by adjusting screw " B ". FIG.4
5. Adjust the lines to be completely matched with Green grid pattern
by taking step 3 and 4.
6. Move the lines of convergence vertically to be matched with
Green grid pattern by adjusting screw " C ". FIG.5
7. Adjust the lines to be completely matched with Green grid pattern
by taking step 3 and 6.
8. Tighten the 2 screws " D " (previously loosened in step 2 above)
with the 5.5mm spanner wrench.
9.After tightening the screws, check convergence. If not aligned,
repeat steps 2 through 8 above.
