from 0 V to 24 V immediately
after the scanner starts to
move forward?

Is the scanner drive cable rout-
ed correctly?
Is the scanner rail free of dirt,
and does the scanner move
smoothly?
Check the wiring/connection
from the connector J116 on the
DC controller PCB to the scan-
ner motor. Is it normal?
Replace the scanner motor. Is
the problem corrected?
